Change to Facebook Timeline profile

Make your facebook profile look cool with facebook timeline.  You can do this with developer release.

Go to facebook >> search “Developer” and click on below shown result.

2. Allow permission to authenticate your details

3 . Now you will be redirected to APP page. Create a new App from there.

Add your New APP name and Namespace ( name space can be entered later)

4. Next is your Settings page. To proceed, you must update your name space.

5. Then click on link “open graph” in the links on left side. Next  Enter up some of the details in open graph.

Define one “Action” and “object”  for the application.

Action : “read”
Object : “website”

Next some details about Action types.

6. Now go to your home page : – > There you will see a new notification

“Introducing Timeline – a new kind of profile”

click on “Get Timeline” below.

Next you will be redirected to your new profile page. Eye catching feature of timeline profile is the cover photo.

Apart from profile photo, you can upload or select an image from already uploaded images as a cover photo.

After selecting cover image, click on “Publish Now” and your New profile page will be ready.

Point to be Noted : As this is the developer mode,

” Only members using developer’s mode can see your new timeline profile. Other members can see your old profile only. ”

Tell Every one to enable their developers mode and publish your timeline profile.

Whats special about timeline profile?

It is a brief story of you describing your life story from your date of birth. The day you born will be shown. Apart from that , details from when you joined facebook will be available.

Other details in between this interval, you can update.
